Christmas Tag Class Projects

Here are the tags up close and personal that we made at class last week. I really thought I wanted these more for cards or scrapbooking, but now I'm totally having a blast putting these on Kraft gift bags!

For this class I wanted to highlight a variety of tag shapes, ribbons, accessories, ribbon tying techniques, punches, and stamp sets. We really covered a LOT of product in this class!

Each of the tags has room to journal or write "to: and from:" on them. Or they can simply be placed on Crumbcake card bases for cards. Those who did card bases in the class dry embossed their card base.

You still have a week to make beautiful tags for your gifts this season! :)

Clear Fall Album Kit $18

I made this clear photo album using the dividers from SU's Forget-Me-Not Keeper! I will be offering this project as an "assemble at home kit" or a class, your choice. If you are interested, please contact me and let me know which you prefer. Please reserve your supplies by Sunday, February 7th. Shipping on kits will be an additional $2.00.

This kit comes with:
6 Forget-Me-Not Dividers
Autumn Traditions DSP (p.160)
Dotted Delicates Rub-On's (p.176)
Cardstock in Mustard, Burgundy, & Artichoke
Grosgrain Ribbon in White, Burgundy, & Artichoke
2 Book Rings

Other supplies needed are:
Vellum Tape
Fine Point Black Sharpie Marker (Walgreens 99 cents)

Ideal picture sizes are:
One picture sized 2 x 2.75" for the front page
Eleven pictures sized 3.25" x 4" or smaller for the other pages

I meant for my inside pictures to be 3.25 x 4" but I shrunk down my pictures too much when I saved them to my computer. The only way for me to get quality prints was to shrink them to wallet size, 2 x 2.75". All in all, it turned out ok this way, but I was not happy at the time!

If you are real particular about colors in the pictures matching the scrapbooking supplies, I would recommend printing your pictures in sepia or black & white. I am not particular so I just printed mine in color.

Remember to reserve your kit by Sunday, February 7th. And let me know if you prefer a class or online tutorial for assembly at home.

The $5 Gift

Are you like me? A sucker for any $5 Christmas gift? Anytime I see these deals, I immediately think "teacher gift", "girlfriend gift", or "I'll figure out who to give it to later...gift". I think $5 gifts are such a great find that I can rarely pass them up! Fuzzy blankets, candles, picture frames, mugs...they all chant my name until I give in!

So with all the great feedback that I have gotten about note card tins, I thought I would conjure up a $5 gift of my own! And what better than a HANDMADE $5 gift?!

Here's the scoop. For $5, you can get all the supplies needed to make a gift of 5 notecards and envelopes packaged up in SU's silver CD tin.

The note cards will be in these 5 different In-Colors. The belly-band on the outside of the tin will be in the 6th In-Color. The centerpiece of the card is the embosslit that says "hi". So these are safe, generic note cards that anyone would appreciate and use!

All you will need to assemble these kits are adhesive! There are no embellishments on these because they bulk up the cards too much to fit inside the tin. The price reflects that.

I currently have supplies on hand for 8 of these, for those who need them FAST and order their kits first. Otherwise, I will order more supplies based on kit orders beyond eight. Please submit your orders by Sunday, December 13th at 5pm. We have to have the supplies in time for Christmas! Although I promise it will take you less than 30 minutes to assemble once you have your kit(s).

I hope you like my $5 gift idea!!!

Christmas Card Kit $20

My Christmas Kit this year will include supplies for making 16 Christmas cards, four of each of the above colors. The red and green are your more traditional looking cards while the turquoise and orchid offer unique options for Christmas.

The half scallop circles are die-cut using the Big Shot machine. And the ornaments are dry embossed white for the added texture that makes these cards "pop". You will receive plenty of silver cord to either tie in bows or simple knots at the top of the ornament for the element of "sparkle". The cards are contemporary square but fit into your typical SU envelope, which

Christmas Card Kit $20

My Christmas Kit this year will include supplies for making 16 Christmas cards, four of each of the above colors. The red and green are your more traditional looking cards while the turquoise and orchid offer unique, fun options for Christmas.

The half scallop circles are die-cut using the Big Shot machine. And the punched ornaments are dry embossed white for elegant texture and further "pop" with 3D adhesive. You will receive plenty of silver cord to either tie in bows or simple knots at the top of the ornament for the element of "sparkle". The cards are contemporary square but fit into typical SU envelopes for regular postage prices. Sixteen ultra-smooth SU envelopes are also included in the kit.

Want to know the best part? The SU stamp set, Christmas Greetings, is also included in the kit (retail value $10.95)! So you will be able to use this set again and again for more cards or scrapbooking. All you need from home to put these cards together is adhesive and a black ink pad.
If you want a second kit without the stamp set, an additional 16 cards is just $10 more.

Please reserve your kit(s) by Friday, October 30th.

Christmas Card Kit

I can't let this time of the year go by without offering a Christmas card kit to my stamping friends...some of whom have grown to rely on me each year, ha, ha. So let's do it again this year, shall we?

I don't have a sample to show just yet. The supplies are on order. But once I have a sample made, I will give a preview of this year's cards. It will probably be one design, in four different colors. Each kit will make 16 cards.

This will be take-home style so you can work at your leisure.

The cost of the kit will be $20 and it will include your very own stamp set! Christmas Greetings retails for $10.95 in the catalog and here it is...I love the words, I love the font, I love this set!
I am envisioning a kit that will include:

White Cards
White Envelopes
Colored Cardstock Layers
Punched and Dry Embossed Ornaments
Silver Cord
Pop Dots
Christmas Greetings Stamp Set

You may purchase additional kits of 16 cards, minus the stamp set, for just $10 if you need more than 16 cards.

I'm sorry I don't have a sample yet, but I wanted to at least let you know this was coming. I know people are planning their Christmas cards already. Stay tuned!

E-Mail Class: 28 Christmas Cards

I am offering a Christmas Card Class, that you can do at home, using the I Wish Simply Scrappin Kit. The cards use thick, card-stock weight, pull and stick die cuts. No stamping is required unless you want to add additional stamped elements on your own.

Participants will receive materials to complete 28 Christmas cards, each with a different design. In addition to the kit materials, participants will also receive 28 kraft envelopes and 6 feet of chocolate ribbon. Participants will be e-mailed a picture of each card to use as their design guide.

Registration Deadline: Friday, November 7th (in one week)

This is a really lovely kit with a vintage feel to it. I am pleased with how the cards turned out, and I couldn't help but give a big glimpse of the finished product.

Email Class: Summer Days 28 Cards

Yes, I did it again. I took one of the Simply Scrappin' Kits and went crazy. I designed 28 different cards using the Summer Days Kit back in May. Above are two samples. And after a delightful day outside with the boys yesterday, I was in the mood to pull this project out and do something productive with it! Here's your chance to make a boat load of cards using this summery kit before it retires next month!

Project: 28 cards and envelopes
Cost: $25 (additional $4.75 to mail flat rate)

Once you assemble these cards based on email pictures I send, you may choose to stamp your own sentiments on them and/or to add some fun accessories like eyelets, brads, and ribbon. Or just leave them as is. The possibilities are endless!

Contact me by Monday, July 14th to sign up. We want to get the kits ordered before the accessory retirement list comes out and the kits become a "while supplies last" item. That could be bad because these are gonna fly off the shelves like hot cakes!

My First E-Mail Class

Thanks to all of you who signed up for my first ever e-mail class. I appreciate all the great feedback and as a result, plan to do this kind of class again. Here is one last sample picture of one of the 12 note cards for everyone else to get a peak. Simple...but fun.

My First E-Mail Class

I am offering my first e-mail class. Here is how it works. Sign up and pay the fee. Then either pick up the supplies or pay to have me mail them to you. I e-mail the samples for you to copy and then you assemble the project at home.

This is how we are running the Scrap Club, and it is working out wonderfully. I think with our busy schedules these days, people really do like the option of being able to do class projects at home on their own time. Plus, this is a great way for long distance stampers to get involved!

Here are the details:

E-Mail Class: Lucky Star 12 Note Cards Class
Cost: $12
Shipping (optional): $4.60 Priority Flat Rate Envelope
Supplies:
lucky star die-cut stickers shown on page 177, here
1 metal tin
supplies for tin's belly-band
12 scored note cards
12 note card envelopes

This project makes 12 different note cards with matching envelopes, plus a matching tin with belly-band which will hold the 12 note cards and envelopes. My picture shows the tin and 3 of the 12 note card designs. This makes a great gift or a fun stash for yourself.

Please contact me with your order and pre-pay by Wednesday, April 30th. You may order as many units as you'd like. Contact me at jamiekaufmann (at) yahoo (dot) com to place your order or to ask any questions.

I look forward to hearing from you!
