Seriously, I can't get any more excited about Stamp Club and Stamp Camp projects than I am about this month's projects! 

We will be making this sparkly Christmas ornament.  Use it as a card or scrapbook embellishment if you prefer.  And I will have SU's glitter papers in assorted colors for you to choose from:  silver, champagne, and red. 

We will also be making a necklace that is super easy and super cute....and that will make a super Christmas gift idea!  Each participant will make one, but will have their choice of ribbon colors and paper design.  :)

October Class ~ Christmas Framed Art $18

The center piece is from designer paper, and everyone's will have a different image.  You will be able to choose your image in the order that I received your payment.  So pay first, and you get first pick!  :)  All of them are cute though!  ;)

Use this framed art to decorate your own home this holiday season.  Or give this away as a gift!  If you keep this for home, you can change out the artwork with the seasons!  :)  That's why you just might need TWO frames, one for a gift and one for YOU!  :)

August Class: Tile Coasters $12

Ok ladies, let's start early!  Let's start working on Christmas!  From August through December, I plan to offer classes that will fire up your creative juices for handmade Christmas gifts!  Save a bundle, have fun crafting, use your supplies, and make meaningful gifts this season!

To start us off, I am going to offer a Tile Coasters Class!  These are so fun and easy to make.  If you have a huge stash of designer papers, you will want to learn how to use them for this project, guaranteed!

We will make four coasters using corresponding papers from Floral District DSP.  They will be sealed and practical for real life use.  Of course I had to add a monogram using my new Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies.  And we'll finish the gift off with some polka-dot grosgrain.

 

Keep these for yourself or mark off one person from your Christmas gift list!  But I promise, I will give all the tips needed for making more of these at home.  You can easily make enough to go around!

The coasters will be complete with scratch-proof felt on the bottom.

Depending on interest, I may condense the class down to just day or night.  If there's enough interest, we will run it both day and night on Wednesday.  The project is really very easy and should only take about an hour.  So think about coming on your lunch hour if you can!

8 Birthday Cards Class!

Here are the 4 designs for my upcoming Birthday Cards Class!  We are using new stuff from the Annual Catalog like the butterfly punch, framelits, Chevron folder, Birds of a Feather paper, Summer Smooches paper, In-Color cardstock and ink, dahlias, stitched grosgrain, and A Fitting Occasion Stamp Set.  I will have other sentiments available and the stamps/cards are versatile so you can make them for any occasion.

I will also have the Big Shot work done ahead of time so the lunch hour class should work great for those wanting to participate and be quick!  :) 

Make 2 each of the 4 designs, envelopes included.  This will be a chance for Mom or Grandma to bring a child with them!  If you have a child who is capable of stamping and would love to come to class with you, the child may attend and help make your set of 8 cards.  

What if you have TWO children who will want to come?If you would like to bring a second child, it will be an additional $7.50 for another set of 4 cards for that child to work on.  Additional 4 cards will not earn a second punch on your punch card.

How old must a child be to attend? 
The class and cards will best be geared toward ages 8 and up.  The child would need to have a two-hour attention span to make it through the class.  And the child will need to be old enough to respect the stamping supplies and the participants working around them.  My 4-year-old could not handle the class.  My 6-year-old son would possibly do ok, but only with constant supervision.  If you aren't sure about your child, just email me and we can figure it out together.  :) 

What if I don't have a child to bring? 
If you would like to attend without a child, you can just make the 8 cards on your own!  Don't hesitate to sign up!

Buy One, Get One Free Class!

Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st so we have to make the most of it before it's gone! And anyone who signs up for this class can bring a friend for free!!! Yep, you heard right! Here are the details!

SAB Class: Friday, March 30th
Time: 11am-2pm or 6pm-9pm
Cost: $20 for 8 cards with envelopes
RSVP: Sign-up and pre-pay by Friday, March 16th

If you register a friend who has not been to any stamp classes or clubs at my new house on Lynnhaven, then that friend can come to class for free! Or share the cost at $10 per person with your friend. If you can't find a friend to bring, you can still attend the class at the $20 cost and your perk will be a punch on your punch card.

The cards all use stamps from the SAB brochure, and we will use SAB papers and accessories too along with some fun things from the Occasions Mini. Class fee also includes envelopes.

As you can see, I am offering a lunch hour option for this class too! If you are home during the day, you might enjoy this option. Or save up some comp time at work so you and a friend can come by on your lunch hours!

This is a GREAT way to share your love of stamping with your non-stamping friends! Often those friends who drag their feet the most are the ones who end up loving the craft once they try it! If you can imagine, I was the "friend" who sat at the kids' Lego table at a scrapbooking store 12 years ago while my college girlfriends shopped all the pretty papers and stamps. But look at me now! ;) That's such a funny story, ha, ha!

We will also be starting new Stamp Clubs this summer/fall so this will be a wonderful, no pressure way to get your friends' feet wet to see if they might want to join an upcoming club with you!

Christmas Decor Class!

GREAT NEWS! I am adding a couple Christmas decor project options to the Christmas Cards Class! If you have signed up for making 10 or 20 cards, those projects are completely separate from these new options.

First off, here are the two decor options. Participants can make a vinyl chalkboard countdown and/or a stocking bunting. They coordinate in the Letters to Santa DSP so both look great together!


Here is the countdown up close. Class fee will not include the frame so you can pick one that best suits your home decor. I think a black or brown frame would work great too. You need an 8x10" frame. You may even have one on hand!


We will dry emboss the word "DAYS". And this adorable project is another reason you may want to consider joining our Serif Essentials Ordering Club! We still need two more people and hope to start ordering the Serif Essentials Dies for participants by January.


And here is the Stocking Bunting up close! Lots of layers, accessories, and I love how they are pinned with SU's new clothespins. The twine and clothespins will be included in the class fee.


So here is how this will work. The Christmas Decor Class will be the same time as the Christmas Cards Class.

I didn't want these gifts to be completely dependent on using a Big Shot because I know some of you do not own one. And I want you to be able to reproduce these adorable gifts at home. Although we will be using the Big Shot for a couple of the elements, the majority of these projects can be done at home without a die-cut machine. Instead, we are going to get more innovative with inexpensive items you can get from SU like boxes, stamp cases, and scrapbook page protectors! You will want to come learn these creative ideas!

Remember, every $20 catalog order (outside of Stamp Clubs) also will receive a punch on your punch card. So if you need to order supplies at class, you can earn more punches on your card. Of course, orders are not necessary or expected at class, but I wanted to remind you of the punch card perks. 12 punches in 12 months earns $12 in free product. :)

Scrap Class on Sep 30th!

I will be having an in-house Scrapping Class on Friday, September 30th from 6-9pm. The above picture is one of three layouts we will do. Click on the picture to see details up close, like these dry embossed circles!


The other layout themes will come from the Paisley Petals Designer Papers and the Just Add Cake Designer Papers. If you've been purchasing my monthly scrap kits, these three layouts will correspond with your July, August, and September kits. But anyone is welcome to take the class!

We will be stamping, using the Big Shot, accessorizing, and eating chocolate as we put our pages together. You are welcome to bring pictures to work with, or you can add pictures when you get home. If you purchased kits that aren't put together yet, feel free to bring those to assemble too.

Christmas Tags Class!

I'm excited to offer a new take on my Christmas Stamping Class this year! I think you are going to love the versatility!

We will make these 6 Christmas tags that can be used for a variety of Christmas projects. I will offer all three of these class options:

TAGS $12~Keep your projects as tags and place them on special Christmas gifts wrapped in plain white or kraft paper at home...or wrap them in Jolly Holiday DSP! Your beautiful gifts will show your loved ones just how special they are to you!

CARDS $15~You also have the option of mounting these fantastic tags onto dry embossed Crumb Cake card bases. Kraft envelopes also included. Send these Christmas cards out to those who mean so much to you this Holiday Season!

SCRAPBOOK $25~The third option is to use these tags in a special Christmas Scrapbook for accenting and journaling. The 8x8 Vintage Christmas Album in the Holiday Mini is the perfect album for displaying your pictures and these wonderful tags. The $25 fee includes making the tags and receiving the album. You will need to do your actual scrapbooking at home after you take and print your Christmas pictures! ;)

Here's the album. It's perfect! It has 10 pages. I plan to use one tag for the title page and the five other tags in each of the five layouts.
If you want to do a combination of any of the class options (tags, cards, or scrapbook), you are welcome to. Kit fees will be discounted $2 each when you sign up for two or more class kits. I can hardly decide between the three options so I know I'm doing all three. :)
