Ice Cream Parlor Gift Set

I know the Ice Cream Parlor Scrap Kit expired after Sale-A-Bration, but I wanted to show ya what I made for my neighbor's high school graduation. The colors of the paper matched her party theme so well.

I filled an RSVP pen with DSP, and made note cards with the self-adhesive stickers. I sold a lot of Broadsheet Alphabets last month. See why? They make the cutest monograms! The gift set was wrapped with Peach Parfait ribbon.

As luck would have it, Starbursts also matched her color theme well so I made another study buddy jar with a chalkboard vinyl label.

See how stamping supplies can make fun gifts?!

Scallop Square Die

Yep, another graduation craft. Made this for my sis. Homemade chocolate chip cookies, in a repurposed Target nut container, with a Scallop Square chalkboard vinyl label. :) Yes, I am a chalkboard-label-holic.

I've gotta get up our Club cards soon!

Celebrations Pin Wheels

I made this centerpiece for my sister's graduation party. It uses the Celebrations DSP for the pinwheels and chalkboard vinyl cut with the Scallop Circles #2 die. :)

Jar Vases With Chalkboard Vinyl

These are more jars I made up for Mother's Day. We put flowers in them for gifts. My neighbor is using some for Graduation Party centerpieces. They are cute for so many things! Wedding centerpieces? That would be fun too. :)

I used chalkboard vinyl and Scallop Circles 2 Die to make the labels. And I used hemp twine, which is a good neutral to use with any color of flowers. :) It's barely there, but also it adds so much to these simple vases.

Chalkboard Label

I made this little vase to take to Jeff's Grannie this weekend. I made the label using SU's chalkboard vinyl...cut with the Circles #2 Die. I tied hemp twine at the top, and then finished it off with a faux daisy. When the flowers start blooming, we can replace the fake flower some real ones. :)

Spring Door Window

As many of you know, I try to get creative when working with this silly garage door window in the kitchen. For spring, I hung a little sign and added vinyl flourishes to the window. The flourishes are called, well, "Flourishes" in SU's Definitely Decorative brochure. I didn't use all the pieces. It's $14.95 and comes in black, chocolate, sand, white, and clear. I used chocolate.

Here is the sign up close. I painted a navy blue sign white. Then die cut letters with my Simple Alphabet dies from SU. The designer paper is my favorite, Greenhouse Gala. Then I put white paper flowers from SU all along the bottom with SU pearls in the center of each. The sign is hung with Marina Mist Seam Binding.

Today is one of our first beautiful spring days. Hope you are enjoying your day!

Inspiration Vinyl

I finally got some pictures hung in our living room. I used more SU vinyl, called "Inspiration", from the Definitely Decorative brochure to put around the pictures. You can get them in small for $4.95 or in medium for $5.95...and in chocolate, black, or kraft. I used medium words in chocolate.

My brother-in-law, Shultz Photography, took these pics. Thanks, Kyle!

Free Chalkboard Vinyl!

You can get this free piece of chalkboard vinyl with a $50 SU purchase through March! There's actually a very cute white heading to put at top which says "NOTES" but I left it off here.

I am using this one for our weekly menu. And I LOVE using chalk markers on the vinyl. :)

Greenhouse Gala Frig Organizer

This may be just for spring. Who knows. But I was in the mood to change the accent color in our LR/Kitchen from red to blue. I think it looks a lot better with our plum couch and green walls. Here was my SU vinyl frig organizer before.

All I had to do is change out the designer paper. I used my most favorite home decor DSP, Greenhouse Gala. Then I made new paper flowers using the Scallop Circle Punch and vintage brads. And I changed the buttons on my magnets. Now they are Crumbcake and Baja blue.

Oooo, I really like it. It's so different but was such an easy transformation. I can keep that vinyl on the frig for a long time and just change out the colors whenever I'm in the mood. Yay!

Framed Vinyl

I purchased this vinyl decal from SU's Definitely Decorative Brochure and framed it in an old frame I spray painted white. This is hung right in our entryway now. I can't wait for the Stamp Club girls to see it in person. :)

Chalkboard Vinyl Organizer

I know I showed this before, but I have made improvements that I wanted to share. :)

This is the Curly Sign Chalk Vinyl from Stampin' Up. I have this stuck to the side of my refrigerator. It can be pulled off anytime when I'm "over it".

I was finding myself making so many lists for different things so this was a great solution to having all my lists in one spot, in site, and even displayed cutely.

The Curly Sign comes in 12x12 for $15.95 or 15x15 for $18.95. I used the 12x12.

Then I used designer paper to give it a theme. You can use any paper you want to match your decor. I made four quadrants using the papers to categorize my lists. I even made cute paper flowers and glued them to magnets. They accessorize the display, but we also use them as magnets for school papers and such when we need them.

One of my improvements was the mesh locker organizer I found at Target during back-to-school clearance. I think it was $2? I keep a pen and extra paper cut down for my lists in here. Other random things find their way in here, but I cleaned it out for you. ;)

Another really cool improvement is that I just learned about chalk MARKERS. Oh yeah, my favorite word, "marker". So I had to head to the craft store to get me some! I just love their crisp look compared to old school chalk. They clean off just great with a wet rag too.

You can also see how I attach each list. I made little button magnets by hot gluing Stampin' Up buttons to strong magnet discs from the craft store.

I've had this system going since the summer, and it's still keeping me organized. I love it! I may switch out the designer papers sometime, and will have to come back to show you when it's all refreshed and new.

If you would like see SU's chalkboard vinyl, this is the brochure.

Framed Greenhouse Gala

I've been trying to figure out what to hang above our bed, and recently decided framed scrapbook paper would be fun. When I pulled out all my papers, I was so happy that Greenhouse Gala was the perfect match for our blue and brown walls. And it adds some green, red, and yellow so that's nice. Actually, the stripe paper comes from the Nursery Suite Specialty. I liked the striped look from that, and the colors match the flower papers.

I used my Big Shot and alpha dies to do the vinyl. "K" is from Serif Essentials. "Always" is from Alphabet Simple Letters.

Now the part I am not sure about is the way I arranged these. It just doesn't look right to me. The bed is not completely centered on the wall so I didn't want to line the frames up in a horizontal line. But I don't know.....any thoughts before I put more holes in the wall???
