The new Occasions Mini has this little pin cushion shown in it, and I love it! I had to make one myself.You can get the small BALL jars at Walmart, Target, Meijer, etc. I got mine at Meijer. The fabric is from SU's new Sewing Suite.
I got directions at Sarah's Ink Spot Blog. I did change a couple things. Instead of backing the cushion with cardstock, I used chipboard because it is more sturdy.
And I did an extra step of pulling back a glued spot to do more filling. The last cushion I made was not stuffed enough. I wanted to make sure this one was good and full. See, here was my little hole to stuff it more before putting it altogether.
Because I stuffed it a lot, it was tricky putting the pieces all together. But I got it to work eventually and love the end result! :)
