A New Kit Reveal & Giveaway! {I Need Red!}

Today it's my birthday, and I wanted to celebrate with all my crafty friends!  So here are some ways I am going to kick it off this morning....

  • Announcing my "I Need Red" Kit!
  • Giving away 1 "I Need Red" Kit Today!

"I NEED RED" KIT
Now to the "I Need Red" Kit!  I am working on my 2013 scrapbook (vigorously), and keep running into a little problem.  Many of the papers by SU and other companies just do not have red in them!  My boys wear so many bold, boy colors and I like my papers to match the photos.  I either need to start printing in black and white, or I needed to find a fix to my "boys in bold" problem.  Don't get me wrong, there are SOOOO many cute papers out there.  But I'm finding that the "reds" are usually "coral".  URG.  That translates to "pink" in my masculine-heavy family....and just won't do.

I also know that many of you are Moms or Grandma's of boys.  And I'm assuming you all have this issue, too.  Why is there way more offered in the way of cutesy, girly stuff than fun, boy stuff?  Not fair!

However, there is one stinking, very adorable...very boy-friendly set of papers in the current SU catalog.  I absolutely LOVE that it includes RED...and lots of other bold colors for my boy pictures.  It also couldn't be more perfect in that it has papers of the super trendy camera, suitcases, etc.  LOVE that camera paper!!!

Since I love this paper pack so much, I decided to make up my own boy scrapbooking kit with it.  I call it the "I Need Red" Kit.  And I am going to offer a few of these for sale soon.  But for now, I would like to give one away for my birthday!

With three boys of my own, this is right up my alley, Jamie! Plus I'm leaving Tuesday to see my mom in the Philippines and these paper would also be perfect to document my travels! Thanks for the chance to play along!
