Glass Tiles

I bought some glass tiles and bails off of Etsy and made several necklace charms for Christmas gifts this year. You can do a lot of different things with the tiles, but I chose to showcase scrapbook paper. I used several styles of paper. The one shown here is from Greenhouse Gala. I used SU Crystal Effects for gluing the paper to the tiles, for sealing the back of the tiles, and for adhering the bails.

Here is a close-up of the tile charm.

These are really easy to make, but for me there was a bit of a learning curve. It took awhile for me to get the papers cut to the right size and to get better control of the glue mess. But once I got those two things down, it was smooth sailing. I want to order another batch of 20 tiles so I can be ready for when SU releases any cute and conducive designer paper. :)

jen, i learned to adhere paper with THIN layer. then not to much seeped out the sides. when it did, i wiped with tissue. and adhered bail with very little glue, no overflow once i got it down. also, wipe while keeping tile down. if you pick it up, it gets all over YOU!
