Epic Day This and That Card

I LOVE the new Epic Day This and That products.  I keep referring to them as "smashbook" materials so you all might understand one way to use the Bundle.  However, you can use these supplies for traditional scrapbooking AND card-making, too!

I bought the whole bundle because I wanted the supplies for traditional scrapbooking.  I thought the journal would just be an added bonus, and I'd figure out a way to use it as a journal later.  But when the bundle arrived, I fell in love with all the products and was inspired to come up with a way to use it all together with the journal.  Hence, I am now doing a diet and exercise journal for two months.  Maybe scrapbooking is just the motivation I needed because I have lost three pounds since April 1st!  ;)

I still plan to use the Epic Day supplies in my 12x12 family album, too.

AND, I could not WAIT to make a card with these supplies!  When I saw this card by Mish Mesh, I was totally inspired to do some washi tape on a card!

For this card, I made my own tag with a rectangle piece of cardstock, corner rounder, and hole punch.  And please be impressed with my real stitching on the bottom.  ;)

Supplies that I added to this card that are not part of the Epic Day line are:

Coral Twine ($2.95)

Epic Day Supplies that I used are:
Washi Tape (3 for $4.95)
Designer Paper ($10.95)
Rotary Stamp ($5.95)

If you don't want the whole Epic Day Bundle, just pick up some of the supplies for card-making while it's still FREE SHIPPING through the end of today!  Once again, here's a picture of what's included in the Bundle.

If you end up doing some "Free Shipping Shopping" today online, don't forget to check out the Clearance Rack for some exceptional bargains!

Have a great day, and I hope it's EPIC!

I'm sorry, how can you NOT already have comment raving about this great card and the clever idea for using the This 'n That bundle to make it! I LOVE it....and since it would be an awesome graduation card I am going to compliment you by case-ing your card to give my youngest son for a college graduation card. Not too fussy or girly, fun colors and the sentiment works! Thanks so much for sharing! Jan Hoyt O'Fallon, IL
