King of the Grill

I made this card for a Gina K. challenge but forgot to submit it on time. I dry embossed on designer paper. Used dew drops for the little hamburgers. The challenge was to make a decorative corner so I did that by cutting designer paper into triangles.

Cards For Sale!

I finally got around to packaging up some individual cards for sale. I hope to put these in my mom's sewing shop tomorrow, hence the cute quilt cards on the right! I'm starting with a small supply of 25 cards and will see how it goes. The other side has cards with lots of animal images, including some of my Riley Moose cards. I love that little guy. Anyways, I am just excited about finally getting around to this and thought I'd share!

Unity Card

In honor of the Kaufmann's finally house hunting...I made this card using a stamp from Unity. We bought our first home intending to be here for 3 years, before kids arrived. We've been here 9 years. We also waited 6 years to have kids. Jeff and Jamie Kaufmann do not do ANYTHING lightly. Wish us luck on ever getting out of this 1,000 square foot house. It will take a LOT to get us out the door.

Monogram Buckets

What does this picture have to do with stamping? Check out those cute sand pails...I used the Serif Essentials SU alphabet and the Big Shot to cut vinyl monogram letters for the buckets. Cuteness, right?!

And for my sister the dental student, I put toothbrushes in the Easter buckets this year. Nice, huh!

Thank You, Gina K!

I had a really luck week last month because I also won a stamp set of my choice from Gina K during her March release! This stamp comes from the set King of the Grill. It's a manly set but you can paper piece anything into girly-ness, right?! Anyone sick of Sweet Always DSP yet? Man, I love that stuff! This card is going out to Gina.

Easter Card

This is the Easter card I made and haven't sent out yet. I was too sick to get them out on time. The bunny is from Penny Black. Sentiment from Amuse. DSP from SU. I flocked this sample but not all the cards I made. Got too lazy.

This month I am giving away a stash of chipboard letters, numbers, and shapes. Just leave a comment by Monday, April 20th to enter. Thanks for all your support!

Thank You, Bette!

I made this for a thank-you card to Bette Johns. I won this cute stamp set, Going Gourmet, from The Craft Lounge. Oh, I also won 3 fancy markers! I still can't believe it. She had 210 entries, and I won! I think my luck is out for the rest of the year. The designer paper is yummy textured paper from SU.

Pink Cat Challenge

This card was a leftover supplies last minute card but is one of my favorites! So much so, that I decided to enter it in Pink Cat Studio's recent challenge. I know it's probably too simple to win anything grand, but I like the monochromatic look.

The challenge is to either use real stitching or to use a popped up layer. It is also supposed to be a birthday or baby card. I popped up a layer with the butterfly, and made this a birthday card.

The stamp is a Pink Cat set that I got on trade. I'm highly allergic to cats but these stamps are too cute to make me sneeze! I used my nesties and then dry embossed the dots with my crop-a-dile. The papers are from SU's hostess paper pack. And I LOVE that white SU satin ribbon, my new favorite!

Jen del Muro's Challenge

I won a goody bag from Jen del Muro and needed to make her a thank-you. I designed this card around one of her recent challenges. I was too sick to get it in before the next challenge started for this week. I used a Bella stamp because Jen is on their design team. Then I used some paper, ribbon, and embelishment from the goody bag. The card base and sentiment are SU product. Here was the sketch:

Elzy Soccer Boys

This stamp reminds me of Miles and his buddy Osborne. Although, they both have blondish hair, LOL. I made this for a challenge over at the Elzy blog. The challenge was to use ribbon, a cirlce, and embellishments. I used SU papers, brads, and ribbon.

Monkey Card

This is a Denami stamp with an AMuse sentiment. Papers and ribbon are SU, and I broke out the SU scallop punch. Pretty cool, huh?!

All That Scraps Challenge

I made this card for the anniversary challenge over at All That Scraps. I used a CC Designs stamp with SU sentiment from Wild About You. Once again, my favorite designer paper Sweet Always. And I stepped up my coloring with the white highlights, yay!

Taylored Expressions Challenge

This card is for a sketch challenge at Taylored Expressions. The papers are SU. Image is Elzybell. Here is the sketch.

Limelight Challenge

I did this card last night for the sketch and metal challenge over at Limelight Papercrafts. The stamp set is from Pink Cat Studios. I used a nestie dies and a big shot die. Also played around with white flock, messy, messy! The paper, ribbon charm, and ribbon are from SU. Here is the sketch:

I really like this color combo! Always follow the lead of the DSP...it will never lead you astray! Deep thoughts...by Jamie Kaufmann.
