Marker Technique #3

For this technique, I stepped up the simple idea of just coloring in a lined image with your markers. I used different shades of the pink and orange to give the image more dimension. If you have heard of fancy art markers like alcohol based Copics, this is a copycat technique using SU's water-based markers. For your image, choose the color you want and find a light and dark shade in your SU markers. SU offers many combos of lights and darks for you to use. If you have SU's color wheel, they even have a monochromatic chart on there which is how I came up with these color combos.

Pretty in Pink with Rose Red
Blush Blossom with Pumpkin Pie

And for the small tag, try using your writing tip instead of the brush tip. It works great for detailed areas like this.
