Stamp Set ~ Madison Avenue (SAB)
Ink ~ Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Crumbcake
Punches ~ 1-1/4" Circle, 1-3/8" Circle, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle
Folder ~ Striped Embossing
Accessories ~ Paper Doily (Spring Catalog), White Stitched Grosgrain, Pearl

You can make this card at Stamp Camp on Thursday!

Stamp Club March 2013 ~ Feeling Sentimental

We made this adorable card for stamp club this month.  I love it!  The designer paper is from the Spring Catalog, called Tea for Two.  It has pastels and quilt prints, love!  After we sponged the DSP and put it onto Espresso panel, we put the whole panel through the Big Shot with the honeycomb folder to dry emboss.

We made our own tag with the First Edition designer paper.  The stamped image comes from Feeling Sentimental, in the now expired Sale-A-Bration brochure.

The card was finished off with some twine and a butterfly from the Beautiful Wings embosslit.

Stamp Club February 2013 ~ Just Thinking

I really like the Just Thinking single wood stamp in the Spring Catalog.  It's versatile, it makes a great decoration in my stamp room, and it fits the Window Framelits that I already own, yay!

It was fun to use so many Sale-A-Bration items in this card:  designer papers, ribbon, buttons, embossing folder.  Sale-A-Bration ends Friday if you have a $50 order you want to get in before the promotion ends!  Free SAB item with every $50 purchase, yay!

Stamp Club & Stamp Camp ~ December 2012

For this month's Stamp Camp and Stamp Clubs, we are doing two great 3D projects just in time for Christmas!  I wasn't going to hold a Stamp Camp this month just because of the hustle and bustle this time of year...but after I designed the projects, I couldn't resist!  So I will be offering Camp for these two projects on THIS Friday afternoon and possibly on Friday evening.

Please let me know right away if you would like to attend either of those Stamp Camp times Friday.  That's TOMORROW!  It's $5 for both of the projects.  Or the projects are FREE with a $20 order (also get a punch on your punch card).

My Stamp Club ladies do the projects for free.

Here are the projects!

This is a very easy-to-make candy cane holder.  I am using my own convenient measurements on this so you will want to come find out my secrets!  :)

And this is a gift card holder that is probably my most favorite gift card holder design so far!  We seem to do one each Christmas, but you will especially like this one!!!

Both of these projects take no special machines or dies so anyone can reproduce more of these projects easily at home.  Hope to see you tomorrow!  :)

Date:  Thu, Nov 15
Time:  7-9 pm
Cost:  $5 or $20 order that night (earn a punch)

Seriously, I can't get any more excited about Stamp Club and Stamp Camp projects than I am about this month's projects!

We will be making this sparkly Christmas ornament.  Use it as a card or scrapbook embellishment if you prefer.  And I will have SU's glitter papers in assorted colors for you to choose from:  silver, champagne, and red.

We will also be making a necklace that is super easy and super cute....and that will make a super Christmas gift idea!  Each participant will make one, but will have their choice of ribbon colors and paper design.  :)

Stamp Camp ~ September

Now that September Stamp Clubs are over, I can show you the projects that you can do at this month's Stamp Camp!  Stamp Camp is for ANYONE.  There are 8 spots available so sign up soon and don't miss out!

Date:  Thu, Sep 27th
Time:  7-9 pm
Cost:  $5 or $25 order

This month SU is also running a promo for FREE $9.95 In-Color ribbon with $40 orders!  So you can hypothetically come make two free projects, place a $40 order, pick out a free spool of ribbon, and get a punch on your punch card.  Not too shabby!

Here are the projects we will be making!

A recipe card holder.  This would make a great gift for your guests at Thanksgiving.  For your best dishes, place a recipe card or two inside and put these at the place settings.  Or use the template with new designs for Christmas parties, showers, birthday parties, girls' night, etc.

You could even tuck gift cards into these instead of recipe cards.  The options are endless!

At class you will receive the template on card stock so you can reproduce these at home.  Here is the inside.
This project uses new product from the Holiday Catalog.

Orchard Harvest Paper
Autumn Accents Die
Seasonal Sayings Stamp Set

Here is the second project.  It is a fall birthday card, but you can use another sentiment if you prefer.

Apothecary Accents Framelits
A Reason to Smile Stamp Set
Stitched Grosgrain

Please email by Sunday night to reserve your spot at Stamp Camp (I am extending the deadline).  Hope to see you there!

Stamp Club: A Cherry on Top

We did this card at June Stamp Club.  I am loving all the doilies used in the new catalog.  But I don't yet have a doily die.  So I wanted to inspire my stampers who also don't have the dies or don't even have a Big Shot...use doily STAMPS if you are wanting a doily look!

I also wanted to show how the stamp set A Cherry on Top can look more elegant than cutesy with the right colors, stamps, and tools.  I think this turned out pretty sophisticated.

Stamps:  A Cherry on Top, Delicate Doilies
CS & Ink:  Rasberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Espresso
Punches:  Scallop Trim Border, Circles

Happy Summer!

Stamp Club May: Embossing Frame

We used the retiring Sincere Salutations, so long old friend!

Cardstock & Ink:  Coral, Crumbcake, Vanilla
Folders:  Emboss Frame, Vintage Wallpaper
Embellishment:  Silver Brad

For the technique, we embossed the Vintage Wallpaper onto a Vanilla rectangle that fit right into the frame.  Then we sponged it.  I love how the folder embossing is the highlight of this card!

Stamp Club May

We used the retiring stamp sets, Flowers Fancy and Pocket Silhouettes.  For a new technique, we sponged the ink onto the flower with sponge daubers.  After all these years, I still love my Top Note Die.

Stamp Club ~ May Trifold Card

This fancy fold is so easy and not really TOO fancy.  You don't even need a scoring tool.  Just fold your 8.5 x 5.5" card base in half like normal.  Then fold back the front in half again.  :)

We used retiring DSP, Domestic Goddess, for this Mother's Day Card.  I will also miss that Sweet Shoppe alphabet.  :(  The uppers and lowers have both been adopted to good homes, though.  ;)

Have a great week!

Stamp Club: Framelits for Embossing

We made this card at May Stamp Club.  I love it!  I taught the girls how to emboss with their Framelits.  See all those layers?  :)

If you want to learn how to do this, I learned by watching Angie Juda's video.

I am sure going to miss this retiring stamp set, Fox and Friends.  And the sentiment was from the retiring, "Look Who's Turning"...which will be in my rummage sale June 1st.  :)

Have a great weekend, friends!

Stamp Club Summer Smooches

We made these during the Summer Smooches preview.  I love how you can take a bold printed designer paper and make it the focal point of a card.  Add a sentiment and accessory and you are done!

CS & Ink:  White, Razzleberry
DSP:  Summer Smooches
Stamp Set:  Occasions Alphabet
Accessory:  White Baker's Twine
Punches:  Large Oval, Scallop Oval

I can't wait to play more with the Smooches line!

Stamp Club: Triple Treat Flower

We made this in March?  I just couldn't find it for awhile.  Now it's been found, and I can show you!  It was a favorite of mine, I always love purple and green.  :)

CS & INK:  Concord Crush, Wisteria, Pear
STAMPS:  Triple Treat Flower & Friendly Phrases
PUNCHES:  5-Petal, Fancy Flower, 1/2" Circle
FOLDER:  Stripes

Have a wonderful week!

Stamp Club: April Mixed Bunch

Did you know my laptop broke for good?  Booo!

Anyways, now that I've whined a little....

This was an April Stamp Club card using the Mixed Bunch stamp set and Blossom Stamp Set.  Both are carried-over from the Occasions Mini Catalog, YAY!  DSP is Attic Boutique.  Accessory is a pearl.

I taught the girls how to use the Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies.  We like to use painters tape to hold the dies in place when cutting on the Big Shot.

Hope you have a great week!
