Stamp Club: November

Ooo, we loved this one! I told the girls that this is a good vintage inspiration card. There's not a lot of technique to it, but there's a lot of good vintage product that does the "aging" work for you!

Vintage Embossing Folder
Eyelet Border Punch (we wadded it up and laid flat again for a worn look)
Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon
Deck the Halls DSP
And stamping images onto Crumbcake gives an easy vintage look too!

This stamp is from A'la Carte in the Holiday Mini...Sweet Snowglobe. We markered the image and then accented the snow with Dazzling Diamonds.

I just love this card! Hope you do too. Have a great day!

Stamp Club: November

This was our fall card for Stamp Club this month. I love making small square cards with
8.5 x 11 cardstock. Just turn your cardstock horizontal and cut at 4.25 inches. Since the long side is already 8.5", with just one cut you have a square when you fold your piece in half. And I do put these in SU's medium envelopes which require no extra postage. ;)

Stamp Set: Day of Gratitude
DSP: Autumn Spice
CS: Olive, Crumbcake
Ink: Crumbcake, Espresso
Accessory: Vintage Brad

Don't forget my "No Tax, No SH" sale ends today!

"What You See Is What You Pay" - My Thanksgiving Special

I'm baking. I'm cooking. I'm crafting with the kids. I'm thinking about stamping!

As you already know, SU's Thanksgiving Special is running from Nov 22nd to Nov 30th. You can get product and product bundles from 20% to 50% off!

To sweeten the deals, I am going to add my own 3-day special that you can take advantage of on top of SU's sales! My promo will run from Today, Nov 24th until Friday, Nov 26th.

What do I mean by, "What you see is what you pay"? It means that you pay just the retail or sale price on items with no additional shipping or tax! For example, if you want the Sweet Shoppe Aphabets promo, you pay just $23.95...no additional shipping or tax will be added to your total amount due!

This is a great time to get big ticket items like the Big Shot, the Tabletop Cutter, SU's 48 set of markers and more! And hey, while we mention the Big Shot, there are Big Shot dies on the SU Thanksgiving Promo for 30-40% off. You will want to check it out!

FINE PRINT:
"What You See Is What You Pay" cannot be combined with hostess benefits. And long distance stampers will still have to pay for me to ship items from me to them.

Happy Thanksgiving, Friends!

Black Friday Week!

I am so glad this sale lasts over a week instead of just one day! Yipppeee for us!

If you place a $150 order online, you will get free shipping along with hostess benefits! Be sure to select me as your demonstrator so you get the preferred prices. :)

Or if you have a smaller order, you can order through me. Just keep in mind that SU is not doing free shipping on orders placed through demonstrators.
But that's ok because select items are discounted 20-50% off no matter what! And there is no minimal purchase!

Here is the sale online with pictures.

Here is the list in a flier.

My personal favorite deal is 50% off the Sweet Shoppe upper and lower alphabet combo. I have always wanted to get that cute font but I couldn't choose between upper or lower. I wanted both and now I CAN have both for the price of one! Both the upper and lower in clear mount is just $23.95. Here is the upper...see how cute!? There have been so many times I wished I had this on hand!

Click this link to also see the Christmas fabrics and My Digital Studio that are ALSO 50% off! You know I love fabric! I have it but maybe I need more at that price???

I will place our first group order tonight at 9pm....I don't want my Sweet Shoppe alphabet to sell out! So contact me soon if you want to get in on this first batch of orders with minimal 10% shipping.

Happy Shopping!

Christmas Tags Class!

UPDATE: This class will be held on Thursday, December 9th at 6:30pm at my house. There are a couple spots left so contact me soon if you would like to participate! Pre-payment is needed to reserve your spot. Hope you can come!

I'm excited to offer a new take on my Christmas Stamping Class this year! I think you are going to love the versatility!

We will make these 6 Christmas tags that can be used for a variety of Christmas projects. I will offer all three of these class options:

TAGS $12~Keep your projects as tags and place them on special Christmas gifts wrapped in plain white or kraft paper at home...or wrap them in Jolly Holiday DSP! Your beautiful gifts will show your loved ones just how special they are to you!

CARDS $15~You also have the option of mounting these fantastic tags onto dry embossed Crumb Cake card bases. Kraft envelopes also included. Send these Christmas cards out to those who mean so much to you this Holiday Season!

SCRAPBOOK $25~The third option is to use these tags in a special Christmas Scrapbook for accenting and journaling. The 8x8 Vintage Christmas Album in the Holiday Mini is the perfect album for displaying your pictures and these wonderful tags. The $25 fee includes making the tags and receiving the album. You will need to do your actual scrapbooking at home after you take and print your Christmas pictures! ;)

Here's the album. It's perfect! It has 10 pages. I plan to use one tag for the title page and the five other tags in each of the five layouts.
If you want to do a combination of any of the class options (tags, cards, or scrapbook), you are welcome to. Kit fees will be discounted $2 each when you sign up for two or more class kits. I can hardly decide between the three options so I know I'm doing all three. :)

If you are long distance and interested, please let me know too. I always try to accommodate!

Soon I will be posting the tags mounted on embossed card bases. Stay tuned!

Wide Ribbon Share $12

How did I make this adorable card? I am part of my own Wide Ribbon Share, that's how! :)

When I announced the Wide Ribbon Share, many of my cardmaking stampers said "phew, I can't use that wide stuff on cards". And granted, that was always how I felt about this ribbon too. But then I saw a card similar to this and had to make some of my own versions for your inspiration! This blue bow takes about 2 feet of ribbon. In the Share, you get 3 feet of each color. I will show you some other samples in the days to come of cards that take up less than 2 feet. But this one was fun to show first! :)

If you would like to participate in the ribbon share, you get 11 yards of 1 1/4" Stiped Grosgrain Ribbon for $12. I have a few spots left so contact me soon to snag them up before they are gone. Not only do these make unique cards but would be great for wrapping gifts, scrapbooking, and home decor!

You get one yard each of:

Daffodil Delight
Pumpkin Pie
Pretty in Pink
Real Red
Rich Razzleberry
Night of Navy
Marina Mist
Certainly Celery
Old Olive
Early Espresso
Basic Black

Thanks for visiting today!

Deck the Halls DSP Card #2

Here is another card using the images from Deck The Halls DSP. This frame was part of the same sheet that WISH was on the other card I posted. There was something in the left corner of the frame so I just covered it with a bow.

DSP: Deck the Halls
CS: Chocolate, White
Ribbon: Cobbler Seam Binding
Stamp: Contemp Christmas (part of one of the bundles)
Ink: Cobbler

Have a great day!

Deck The Halls DSP Card #1

I noticed that one of the sheets from Deck the Halls DSP has tons of images that would stand alone so well on a card. So I cut the sheet up to make several cards. Here is the first one I made. Everything you see around WISH and WISH itself is the DSP. I didn't stamp a thing. I just layered the cardstocks and paper and added the ribbon/button accessory. :)

Another "Leftovers Card"

This is another fall card I made from the leftovers on my stamp table, when prepping for Stamp Club. I love the Vintage Wallpaper folder, the Decorative Label Punch, AND Greenhouse Gala DSP! Wait, this card needs something else that I love, RIBBON!

After prepping November Stamp Club, I cleaned up my workspace by using up all the scraps and discarded pieces lying around on the table. This is one of the "scrap cards".

DSP: Autumn Spice (mini)
CS: Espresso, Crumb Cake, Confetti Cream
Ink: Crumb Cake
Ribbon: Narrow Vanilla Taffeta
Punch: Decorative Label

My Favorite Fall Set!

This was going to be one of our November Stamp Club cards, but it was kicked out by another card at last minute. I finally tried the little trick of gathering ribbon a few times on a strip of adhesive. Next I need to do the stitch and pull trick. I'm just too lazy to stitch!

Sometimes it's fun to get back to background stamping. I run to embossing folders and designer papers for backgrounds instead these days. But we always have instant matchy backgrounds within our stamp set, right?!

Stamp Set ~ Day of Gratitude (mini)
Ink ~ Crumb Cake
Ribbon ~ Vintage
CS ~ Garden Green

Halloween Muffins

I made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins for a few of our kind new neighbors. See, I've already put to use some of that bargain ribbon from the Clearance Blitz! The stamp is from Day of Gratitude and the tag is punched with the new Decorative Label Punch.

I put the recipe information on the back of the tag. You can look it up too if you want! Mmmmm, good!
